ASSAULT

On August 3rd, 2012 at approximately 10:15 a.m. a report was received of an assault occurring at a residence in the 600 block of Douglas Street.  The investigation revealed that during an argument the suspect hit, bit, and scratched the victim causing minor injuries.  As a result of this investigation a 19 year old Brandon woman was arrested and released to appear in court in September on a charge of assault.

 

ASSAULT

On August 3rd, 2012 a suspect was arrested in relation to an assault that had occurred on July 12th, 2012 at a residence in the 1200 block of 1st Street North. On that date the victim reported that she had been in a fight with another subject.  She was transported to hospital for treatment of her injuries. The suspect was later identified and located.  A 27 year old Brandon woman was arrested and released to appear in court in September on a charge of assault.

 

ASSAULT

On August 3rd, 2012 at approximately 6:19 a.m. a report was received of an assault occurring at a residence in the 1000 block of 12th Street.  The investigation revealed that the suspect was pushing the victim and slapped her.  As a result of this investigation a 29 year old Brandon man was arrested and released to appear in court in September on a charge of assault.

 

UTTERING THREATS

On August 3rd, 2012 at approximately 9:00 a.m. a report was received that on August 2nd, 2012 the suspect had contacted the victim and indicated that he was going to kill her.  The suspect is presently on a Court Order to not have contact with the victim.  The suspect was later located, arrested, and lodged at the Brandon Correctional Centre.  As a result a 25 year old Douglas man will appear in court later today on charges of Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Injury and Breach of Court Order.
