Fail to Comply with Probation Order
On February 22, 2021 at approximately 2:30 pm, police located a 22-year-old male in the 600 block of Princess Ave who was in possession of a machete. The male was to abide by conditions not to possess any weapons. After he was arrested, he was released to appear in court on May 17, 2021 on charges of Possession of a Weapon and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
Break and Enter to Shed
On February 22, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a shed on a residential property in the 200 block of 12th street. Suspects are believed to have entered the shed overnight after 10:00 pm on February 21. Stolen was a 5-gallon Makita air compressor, a 10” Makita sliding compound saw, a 10” Dewalt table saw, and a City of Brandon dumpster. Anyone with information regarding this break and enter and theft is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.

On February 23, 2021, shortly before 1:00 am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male in the 100 block of McTavish Ave who had nowhere to go and no one to care for him. The 43-year-old male was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
On February 23, 2021, at 2:00 am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual who was passed out in the common area of an apartment building in the 100 block of Regent Cres. The 26-year-old female did not live there and had nowhere safe to stay and no one to care for her. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
