False Fire Alarm

On February 17, 2021 at 2:55 am, police responded to a report of a 911 hang up call, in an apartment building in the 100 block of 10th street.  When police arrived, they discovered that a 25-year-old female had pulled the fire alarm, when there was in fact no fire or emergency.  The female was under the influence of Meth at the time and uncooperative with police.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service.  Once sober, she will be released on an appearance notice to appear in court on April 15, 2021 on charges of False Alarm of Fire, and Resist Arrest.

 

Arrest Warrant

On February 16, 2021, a 25-year-old female attended to Brandon Police Service, as she was aware of a warrant for her arrest.  She was released to appear in court on April 22, 2021 on a charges of Fail to Attend Court, and Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited Weapon.

 

Breach of Peace

On February 16, 2021, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence shortly after 9:00 pm.  A 46-year-old intoxicated female was found to be the cause of the disturbance.  To prevent her behavior from escalating further, she was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On February 17, 2021, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence shortly after 4:00 am.  A 22-year-old intoxicated female was fighting with family.  To prevent her behavior from escalating further, she was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Break and Enter to Residence

On February 17, 2021, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter to a secure area of a shared residence in the 500 block of 13th street at 3:10 pm.  One of the tenants discovered a shirtless male in the laundry room.  The male fled the residence.  He is described as being white, 5’6” tall, overweight, with dark hair and blue eyes, wearing a ball cap.  It’s unknown if anything was taken during this incident.  Anyone with information regarding this Break and Enter is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.
