Break & Enter - Business

On January 31, 20221 at approx. 9:30 am police received a report of an alarm at a business in the 700 blk 33rd St E. Members attended and located a broken window in an office door. An employee attended and was not sure if anything had been taken. No suspects at this time. Still under investigation.

On January 31, 2021 at approx. 12:00 pm an employee of a business in the 600 blk 8th St. reported a male attempting to break in through the front door. The suspect came into business when cleaner went to take garbage out. The suspect stolen some power tools from the business. While investigating another alarm at a business close by, the suspect, a 49 year old male from Brandon, was found lying in the parking lot. He was intoxicated. He was arrested and held until sober then released to appear in court on April 19, 2021 on charges of Break, Enter and Theft, and Breach of Release Order.

Recovered stolen Vehicle

On January 31, 2021 at approx. 6:00 pm a towing company reported they had towed a vehicle to the 1200 blk Lorne Ave. the subject told the tow truck driver he would get some money but never returned.  Police checked the vehicle and determined it had been reported stolen from Moosomin, Sk. Still under investigation.


Police received a report that a suspect had sold a person an item for $200. The item was paid for by etransfer but was never delivered to the purchaser.  The seller then blocked communication with the purchaser and continued to try and sell the item to others. At approx. 4:00 am, the seller, 27 year old male from Brandon, was in vehicle that the police stopped. He was arrested and later released to appear in court on March 15, 2021 on charges of Fraud under.

Other Arrests

On January 31, 2021 at approx. 2:33 pm police observed a suspect, known to have an outstanding warrant for theft under, crossing the railway tracks. Police met him on the other side and he was arrested on the warrant.  He was released on an appearance notice to appear in court on April 12, 2021. 

On January 31, 2021 at approx. 10:20 pm police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1400 blk McTavish Ave.  A check of one of the passengers determined that she had an outstanding warrant for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. The suspect, a 22 year old female from Brandon, was arrested and released to appear in court on March 3, 2021.

On February 1, 2021 at approx. 3:00 am police stopped a vehicle in the 2300 blk 18th St. The driver, a 21 year old male from Brandon had an outstanding warrant for fail to attend court.  He was arrested and held to appear in court this morning.
