Break and Enter

 At Approximately 8:05 AM a report was received from a resident in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue regarding a Break and Enter in Progress.  A male subject had kicked in a front window on the residence and had gained entry.  Upon police arrival the male had fled the residence.  A 27 year male from Brandon was located in the area fitting the description of the subject who had broken into the residence.   The intoxicated male was lodged in the Brandon Police Service Cells to sober.  He was later released on an Appearance Notice to attend court on 2021-03-08.

Warrant Executed

 A 33 year old female attended to the Brandon Police Service to a have a Criminal Record search completed.  During the check the woman was found to have an outstanding warrant held by Manitoba First Nations Police Service.  The warrant was executed and she was released on an Undertaking to attend court in Portage La Prairie on 2021-03-09.   

 Assist RCMP with warrant

 The RCMP (Morris Detachment) contacted the Brandon Police Service to assist with the execution of a warrant on a Brandon resident for Breaching a Court Order.  The 42 year old male was located in the 400 block of 7 Street.  He was held in custody for court later this day.   

Warrant Executed

 At approximately 8:04 PM a report was received from an employee from a business located on 18 Street North requesting the removal of people who were causing a disturbance.  Upon police arrival a 38 year old female was found to have several warrants for her arrest.  The woman was taken into custody and lodged in the Brandon Police Service Office Cells.  She will appear in court later this date for charges in relation to Possess Stolen Credit Card, Fraud Food, Fail to Attend Court x3 and Fail to Attend for Fingerprints X3.

 Assault

 At approximately 10:40 PM a report was received regarding a domestic dispute inside a residence in the 1100 block of 6 Street.  Upon arrival, a female disclosed that she had been grabbed around the neck during the altercation.  A 25 year old male from the Griswold area was placed under arrest for Domestic Assault.  A CPIC search was conducted on the male and he was found to have a warrant for his arrest.  The male was also found to be in Breach of multiple conditions of his Undertaking he is currently on.  The conditions breached include not to attend to victims residence, not to communicate with her and not to consume alcohol or non-medical drugs.  The male was lodge in the Brandon Police Service Cells and will appear in court later this day. 

Fail to comply with Release Order

 At approximately 4:15 AM a disturbance in a residence located in the 2200 Block of Pacific Avenue was received. Upon arrival, a 23 year old female from Brandon was found to be in Breach of her Release Order by attending to the residence and communicating with the female who resides there.  The records check also showed a warrant for her arrest for Failing to Attend Court.  The woman was released on an Appearance Notice to attend Court on 2021-03-18.

Impaired Driving

 At approximately 3:30AM police attended to the 1300 block of 7 Street for a report of a disturbance.  Upon arriving, the suspect was observed inside a vehicle driving away.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver displayed signs of impairment.  The driver was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired and Driving with more than 80mgs of Alcohol in Blood.  He was released on an Appearance Notice to attend court on 2021-01-25.

Warrant for Assault

 At approx. 5:25 AM police conducted a pedestrian check of a female in the 600 block of 10 St.  The woman, who was under the influence of Meth, was found to be the subject of two warrants for her arrest.  The woman was placed under arrest and lodged in the Brandon Police Service Cells.  She will appear in court later this day for charges relating to Assault and Failing to Attend Prints.
