Breach of Peace

On January 10, 2021, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence at approximately 1:30 pm.  One of the individuals involved in the disturbance was found to be intoxicated and removed until sober to prevent the situation from escalating further.  The 29-year-old male was lodged at Brandon Police Service.

 

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

On January 10, 2021, at 11:45 am, police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle being driven in Brandon.  The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Winnipeg.  The vehicle was located and stopped in the 800 block of Victoria Ave.  Both the 27-year-old male driver and 30-year-old female passenger were arrested.  They will each appear in court on April 15, 2021 on a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

 

Arrest Warrant

On January 11, 2021, shortly after midnight, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a parking lot in the 100 block of Victoria Ave. E.  A 42-year-old female who was involved in the disturbance was found to be the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for Theft Under $5000.  She will appear in court this morning.

 

Impaired Driver

On January 10, 2021, police received a report of a vehicle operating dangerously.  The vehicle was located and stopped in the 800 block of 22nd street shortly before 9:00 pm.  The 30-year-old male driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested for impaired driving.  He provided samples of his breath over the legal limit.  He will appear in court on March 1, 2021 for Drive while Ability Impaired and Driving While Over .08mg.

 

Break and Enter to Business

On January 11, 2021, police responded to an alarm at a business in the 1100 block of Rosser Ave at approximately 12:45 am.  Police believe that suspects entered the business through a basement door.  No suspects were in the business when police attended with the owner, and nothing appeared stolen at the time.  Anyone with information regarding this Break and Enter is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.
