Fail to Comply with Release Order

On December 25, 2020, shortly after 1:00 pm, police responded to a complaint of a male at an address where they were not welcome.  The 43-year-old male was found to be wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.  He was arrested and held at Brandon Police Service for court today.

 

Assault

On December 25, 2020 shortly after 3:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence.  An investigation revealed that an assault had occurred and a 37-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court in February 2021.  The victim did not require medical attention.

 

Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth / Weapons Offences

On December 25, 2020, police responded to a report of a male in possession of a rifle.  Investigation led police to the male’s whereabouts at approximately 4:40 pm, and the 26-year-old male was arrested.  Police located a loaded double barrel shotgun and Meth in his possession.  He was also in the company of a 26-year-old female who was also in possession of Meth.  Both individuals were held at Brandon Police Service to await appearing in court today.  The male will face multiple weapons charges including Possession of Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of firearm, Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm in Motor Vehicle, Possession of Restricted Firearm with Ammunition, Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Proceeds of Crime and Fail to Comply with Probation.  The female will face charges of Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth, Fail to Comply with Undertaking, and Possess Proceeds of Crime.

 

Assault

On December 24, 2020, shortly after 11:00 pm, police responded to a report of an assault, which occurred on December 23, 2020.  The victim also received messages from the suspect as he threatened them physical harm.  Police located and arrested the 26-year-old male at approximately 9:30 pm on December 25, 2020.  He will appear in court in February 2021 on charges of Assault and Uttering Threats.

 

Breach of Peace

On December 26, 2020 at approximately 12:30 am, police responded to a report of a female youth who was intoxicated at a residence, and family were unable to prevent her behavior from escalating.  The 16-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Breach of Peace

On December 25, 2020, police received several calls throughout the day of a lone male who was checking doors and yelling causing concern for his neighbors.  Police located a 49-year-old male and gave him the opportunity to stay home and refrain from disturbing others.  His behavior continued, so he was arrested at approximately 2:20 pm.  The male admitted to using illicit drugs.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
