Warrant Executed

On Friday afternoon, Sherriff Services in Winnipeg arrested an 18-year-old male from Winnipeg on the strength of a Brandon Police Service endorsed warrant for failing to comply with sentence.  The male was released from custody and will appear in court in January.

On Friday evening, a 34-year-old male from Sioux Valley attended the Brandon Police Service to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant from the RCMP in Virden for breach of probation.  The male was arrested and released and will appear in court in February in Virden.



On Friday morning, a female from Brandon reported that she was walking near 11 and Lorne Avenue when she was approached from behind by two males.  The males knocked her to the ground and stole a bag that she was carrying.  The males were described as wearing all black with face masks.  Police were unable to locate the suspects.  The victim was not injured during the altercation.  The police investigation is continuing.


Stolen Vehicle Recovered

At approximately noon, a member of the Blue Hills RCMP reported recovering our stolen Honda Accord, in the rural area north and east of Brandon.  No suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
