Residential Fire

On November 16, 2020, at 9:41 am, members of BFES and Brandon Police Service responded to a residential fire in the 700 block of Brentwood Trail Court.  An unresponsive 46-year-old male was located inside the home and was transported to BRHC where he was later pronounced deceased.  Investigators believe the cause of the fire to be accidental in nature.

 

Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On November 16, 2020, shortly before 6:00 am, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence.  One of the individuals in attendance, a 28-year-old female, was found to be on conditions to abstain from the consumption of alcohol and drugs.  She was arrested and will appear in court on January 11, 2021 on charges of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

 

Arrest Warrant

On November 16, 2020, police located and arrested a 29-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges.  He was lodged and will appear in court today on charges of Fail to Attend Court X 2 and Distribute Intimate Image.

 

Mischief to Property

On November 17, 2020, shortly before 1:00 am, police responded to a disturbance at a residence. Suspects broke a window to the home, and sprayed bear mace before running away.  Police located two suspects nearby.  A 19-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.  An 18-year-old male was arrested and lodged as well.  He will appear in court today on charges of Mischief to Property, Possess Weapon Dangerous, and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On November 17, 2020, after 5:00 am, police responded to a report of an unwelcome male at a residence.  A 47-year-old male was located nearby and arrested as he was found to be in breach of a release order, as he was not to attend the residence.  He was lodged and will appear in court on January 25, 2021 for Fail to Comply with Release Order.
