Stolen Vehicle

On Wednesday morning, the owner of a 2017 grey Kia Rondo reported the vehicle stolen from his driveway.  The vehicle has Manitoba license plate GCG 710.  The vehicle has not been recovered and the police investigation is continuing.

 

Recovered Stolen Vehicle

On Wednesday morning, the Sunshine Coast RCMP reported recovering a 2015 Kia Sorrento, stolen from Brandon in September.  The vehicle had been left abandoned on a logging road outside of Sechelt British Columbia. 

 

Mischief

On Wednesday afternoon, a resident at Renaissance Station reported a female in the lobby causing damage, breaking panes of glass.  The female, a 30-year-old of no fixed address was located and arrested.  She was held in custody for release when sober and will appear in court in December.

 

Possess Stolen Property

On Wednesday evening, an off-duty BPS member observed a male breaking into cars in the Brandon Chrysler Dodge parking lot.  The officer intervened and arrested the 28-year-old male.  When on-duty officers attended they found the male in possession of several stolen debit cards and a number of prescription pills.  The male was arrested and released for court in December.

 

Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking

On Wednesday evening, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of 1 Street North.  The occupant of the vehicle, a 35-year-old male from Brandon, was found to be in violation of his court ordered curfew and was arrested.  After being arrested the male was searched and found in possession of a sheathed knife, approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine and a quantity of cash.  The male is charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possess proceeds of crime, possession of a weapon and breach of undertaking.  The male will be released from custody when sober and will appear in court in January.
