Fail to Comply with Release Order

At approx. 5:40 PM Tuesday, officers were called to a residence on Buttercup Bay for a disturbance.  A 39-year-old Brandon female and her ex common-law were engaged in an argument.  The investigation revealed that the female was on a court order with a condition that she not communicate with the male. The female was arrested and held overnight. She will appear in court later today.   


Arrest Warrant Executed

At approx. 2:20 AM today, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Richmond Ave.  A 26-year-old male passenger in the vehicle had an outstanding warrant of arrest for breaching his probation conditions.  The Brandon male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and was later released with a court date of December 22.


Breach of the Peace

At approx. 8:45 PM Tuesday, police were called to an address in the 300 block of Louise Ave for a disturbance.  The information provided by the caller was that a female in the residence was threatening to harm others in the house.  Upon arrival, officers observed three highly intoxicated youth with evidence of drug and alcohol use within the residence.  The female that had reportedly been causing the disturbance appeared to be frustrated that the others would not quiet and calm down.  She was determined no to be the problem.  The three other youth were arrested, removed from the house, and held at the Brandon Police Service until sober.
