Assault Cause Bodily Harm

On November 8, 2020, police attended to a report of an assault occurring within a residence shortly after 8:00 am. An unwanted guest attended the home and began to assault one of the residents by striking them in the head.  Another resident was locked outside the home, but was able to call police for help.  Police arrested a 33-year-old male.  The victim received injuries which required medical treatment.  The suspect was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court this morning on a charge of Assault Cause Bodily Harm.

 

 Possess Meth

On November 9, 2020, shortly before 4:00 am, police arrested two individuals in the 600 block of Frederick Street.  One of the males, a 31-year-old male was to abide by a court ordered curfew.  He was found to be in possession of a small quantity of Meth upon his arrest.  He was lodged and will appear in court today on charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order and Possess Meth. 

The second individual, a 40-year-old male was also to abide by a court ordered curfew.  He was in possession of a stolen bicycle, and several break-in instruments.  He will appear in court today on charges of Fail to Comply with Undertaking, Possession of Break-in Instruments and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

 

Fail to Comply with Recognizance

On November 8, 2020, shortly before midnight, police observed a 26-year-old male in the 900 block of 1st street who was to abide by a court ordered curfew.  He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today on a charge of Fail to Comply with Recognizance.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On November 8, 2020, police learned of a 40-year-old male who was not residing where the courts had ordered him to reside.  He was arrested and will appear in court on January 11, 2021 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Release Order.

 

Break and Enter to Residence

On November 8, 2020, police received a report of a Break and Enter to a residence in the 400 block of 4th street which occurred sometime overnight.  Suspects forced the front door to gain entry.  Once inside they stole a variety of clothing and shoes.  Anyone with information regarding this Break and Enter is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.
