Warrants Executed

On Tuesday morning, a 27-year-old female from Brandon turned herself in to police after learning that there was a warrant for her arrest.  The female was wanted for possession for the purpose of trafficking, possess proceeds of crime and failing to appear in court.  She was arrested and released for court in December.

On Tuesday morning, while at a residence for an unrelated matter, police located a 30-year-old male from Brandon who was wanted for failing to comply with a release order and mischief.  The male was arrested and released for court in December.

At approximately 1 am, Wednesday morning, police attended a residence in the 000 block of 19th Street North for an unrelated incident.  While at the scene, police checked a 16-year-old male from Brandon who was wanted for numerous weapons offences and for failing to appear in court.  The male was arrested and released and will appear in court in December.  Also at the scene was a 53-year-old female who was wanted by Winnipeg Police for theft under $5000.00 and failing to appear for fingerprints.  She was also arrested and released and will appear in court in Winnipeg in January.

At approximately 11 pm, Tuesday evening, police observed four youths openly consuming alcohol near 18th Street and Pacific Avenue.  The youths were checked and one 14-year-old female from Brandon was wanted on an endorsed warrant for mischief and was arrested.  The female was held in custody for release when sober and will appear in court in December.  A 15-year-old female, from Brandon was found in possession of a machete and charged with possession of a dangerous weapon.  She was released and will appear in court in December. The third suspect, a 16-year-old female, also from Brandon was found to be on probation with a curfew which she was violating.  She was arrested and released for court in December.  The fourth youth was charged for consuming liquor under 18 and released. 

 

Theft

On Tuesday afternoon, an employee of a downtown business reported a male had entered the store and taken an item valued at approximately $160.00.  The male was located by police a short distance away, still in possession of the item.  He was arrested and released for court in December.

 

Mischief

On November 2, police attended the 600 block of Pacific Avenue after a male caused damage to a parked car.  The male was located on Tuesday, hiding in the washroom of a downtown restaurant.  The 48-year-old male from Brandon was arrested and released for court in December.

 

Break and Enter

On Tuesday evening, the homeowner of a residence in the 400 block of Park Avenue was broken into sometime during the afternoon.  It is unknown if anything was taken.  Police are continuing to investigate
