Stolen Vehicle

At approximately 3:30, Tuesday afternoon, the owner of a 2012 White and Grey Dodge Ram reported that the vehicle had just been stolen from a business parking lot in the west end of town.  Police were unable to locate the vehicle and the investigation is continuing.


Warrant Executed

At approximately 8 pm, Tuesday evening, members of the Manitoba First Nations Police Service, arrested a 20-year-old female of no fixed address in Long Plains on the strength of a Brandon Police Service endorsed warrant for failing to attend court.  The female will be released from custody when sober and will appear in court in November.


Impaired Driver

At approximately 2 am, Wednesday morning, police conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of Braecrest.  The 36-year-old female driver from Brandon, exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to being intoxicated.  She was returned to BPS and provided two breath samples at over twice the legal limit.  The female was charged with impaired driving and drive over .08.  She was released to a sober relative and will appear in court in November.
