Break and Enter to Garage

On October 23, 2020, police received a report of an overnight Break and Enter to a residential garage in the 600 block of 13 street.  Suspects entered a vehicle parked inside and stole a wallet containing debit and credit cards.  A garage door opener and power tool batteries were also taken.  Anyone with information regarding this Break and Enter is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.

 

Arrest Warrants

On October 23, 2020, police located a 21-year-old male who was wanted on an outstanding charge of Mischief to Property Under $5000.  He will appear in court in November 23, 2020.

On October 23, 2020, police located a 42-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Theft Under $5000 and Possess Property Obtained by Crime.  She will appear in court on December 21, 2020.

 

Theft Under $5000

On October 22, 2020 police responded to a report of a theft of merchandise from a retail business in the 1700 block of 18th street N.  Security footage from the business assisted police in identifying the suspect.  On October 23, 2020, the 48-year-old male was located and arrested.  He will appear in court on December 21, 2020 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Possess Prohibited Weapon

On October 23, 2020, shortly after 9:00 pm, police observed several individuals in the 900 block of Rosser Ave.  Of those individuals, a 37-year-old male was wanted on outstanding charges for Fail to Appear.  He was arrested and will be appear in in court on December 21, 2020.  A 22-year-old female was to abide by conditions not to be in possession of any weapons; however, she was in possession of a knife and a set of brass knuckles.  She will appear in court on January 8, 2021 on charges of Fail to Comply with Undertaking, and Possess Prohibited Weapon.

 

Disturbance

On October 24, 2020, police responded to a report of a fight at a business in the 1000 block of 18th street at approximately 3:00 am.  One of the individuals involved in the disturbance was wanted on outstanding charges.  The 24-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court later today for Theft Under $5000, Fail to Comply with Release Order and Fail to Comply with Probation.  A second individual involved in the disturbance was a 16-year-old female who was very intoxicated.  She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober, when she will receive a $672.00 fine for Consumption of Liquor by a Minor under the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Control Act.
