Warrants Executed

On Monday afternoon, Brandon Police Service members attended the Brandon Correctional Center and arrested an inmate who was wanted by Winnipeg Police for breaching his probation order.  The 28-year-old male remains in custody and will appear in court in the morning.

On Monday afternoon, Police checked a male and a female in the 000 block of 9th Street.  The 31-year-old male from Brandon was found to have an unendorsed warrant for numerous offences including fraud, fraudulent use of a credit card and fail to appear in court.  The male was arrested and lodged for court in the morning.  The female was released without charges.

On Monday afternoon, while executing a search warrant at an address on 5th Street for stolen property, police arrested two occupants of the residence.  The first, a 42-year-old female, from Brandon, was wanted by police on an unendorsed warrant for failing to appear in court.  She was held in custody for court in the morning.  A second female was wanted on an endorsed warrant for possession of a controlled substance and failing to appear in court.  The 25-year-old female from Brandon was arrested at the scene and released for court in December.

 

Search Warrant Executed

At approximately noon, a 26-year-old male was arrested for possession of stolen property when he was observed in the 300 block of Park Avenue on a stolen bicycle.  His arrest led to members of the major crime unit obtaining and executing a search warrant at his residence on 5 Street.  Numerous bicycles and parts as well as a number of tools that had been reported stolen were seized during the execution of the warrant.  The male, from Brandon was charged with possession of property obtained by crime and was released for court in December,
