For the last 24 hours:

 

On 2020/10/15 shortly after 11:00 pm members attended to a residence in the 3500 block of Willowdale to conduct a curfew check on 32 year Brandon resident.  The male subject did not answer his door.  On 2020/10/16 shortly after 08:00 pm the members returned and arrested him for Breach of Undertaking.  He  was released to appear in court on December 21st 2020.

On 2020/10/16 shortly after 8:30 pm members attended to a residence in the 3500 block of Willowdale after receiving a complaint that a 20 year old male was in breach of his probation by being in the company of children under the age of 16.  The male subject was arrested on scene and later released on an appearance notice for court on December 21st, 2020

On 2020/10/16 at approximately 11:30 pm police checked a male who is known them in the 1700 block of McTavish Avenue.  A CPIC search was conducted and he was found to be in breach of his curfew.  He was also found to have a warrant for his arrest for Theft under $5,000 x8, Utter Threats, Assault, Attempt B&E, Possession of Break in tools and Mischief Under $5,000.  The 25 year old Brandon resident was arrested and Lodged in the Brandon Police Service Cells and will appear in court in the morning.

On 2020/10/16 police conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block 4th street where they found a 19 year old male occupant who was wanted on a warrant for failing to attend for fingerprints.  Upon arrest, a follow-up investigation led police to obtain a search warrant for a residence in the 000 block of Durum Drive. A small quantity of psilocybin mushrooms and a Taser was located in the residence. The Brandon resident was lodged at the Brandon Police Service Cells and will appear in court in the morning.  Additional charges will include Breach of Recognizance X2, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

On 2020/10/16 a 20 year old male from Crane River was arrested at a check point in Crane River after he began fighting with security officers.  He was found to have a Brandon Police Service warrant for his arrest for Failing to Comply with Probation.  He will appear in Brandon court January 14th 2021.
