For the last 24 hours:

 Garage Break In

On Thursday morning, a resident in the 500 block of 15th Street reported their garage entered overnight. Stolen was a mountain bike, and a few hand held power tools.

 Disturbances

Yesterday afternoon at 3:10 pm, a resident in the 700 block of 7th Street reported a female not known to the caller on the neighbour’s doorstep acting in a suspicious manner. On police arrive, the 21-year-old female of no fixed address fled on foot. Police pursued the female who was high on meth for approximately one block, at which time she was taken into custody. The female remained in custody until sober, and then released to appear in court in November as she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for failing to appear in court.

At 8 pm yesterday evening, an intoxicated male was attempting to gain entry to a residence in the 700 block of Louise Avenue. The 47-year-old male from Brandon was not a resident of the home. No entry was gained or damage occurred, and the male was lodged in cells for release later once he was sober.

Possession of Meth

At 3:50 a.m. today, police checked a 44-year-old male in the 1300 block of McTavish Avenue. He was in possession of a small quantity of meth and a spring-loaded knife. He was released to appear in court in December and is charged with possession of meth, possession of a weapon, and breach of undertaking.
