Warrants Executed

On Sunday morning, police attended the hospital for an intoxicated person.  The 35-year-old male from Brandon was found to be wanted on an endorsed warrant for failing to appear in court.  The male was lodged and released for court in November once sober.

On Sunday morning, members of Manitoba First Nations Police Service in Waywayseecappo arrested a 26-year-old female from Brandon on an endorsed warrant held by Brandon Police Service for failing to appear in court.  The female was released for court in December.

On Sunday morning, members of the RCMP in Portage la Prairie arrested a 40-year-old male from Portage on the strength of a Brandon Police Service endorsed warrant for theft under $5000.00.  The male was released for court in November.


Break and Enter

On Sunday morning, a resident on Derlago Drive reported his garage was entered sometime overnight.  It is unknown if any items are missing.  Two male suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and used the remote control for the garage door to make entry.  Police are continuing to investigate.


Breach of Court Order

At 4 am, Monday morning, police attended a disturbance in the 400 block of Victoria Avenue.  A 24-year-old female of no fixed address was located and found to be on a undertaking with a 9 pm to 7 am curfew.  The female was arrested and held in custody for court later in the day.


Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries

On Sunday afternoon, police attended a two-vehicle collision at 6 and Rosser.  Witnesses provided that one involved vehicle had failed to stop for the red light and struck the second vehicle, a taxi with three passengers.  Two of the passengers suffered minor injuries which were treated at BRHC.  The driver of the at fault vehicle was charged with disobeying a traffic control device.
