Traffic Stop – Several Charges

On September 5, 2020, police conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Princess Ave at approximately 3:30 am. Two of the occupants in the vehicle were to abide by court ordered conditions to have no contact with each other. They were each arrested. Officers located 5 grams of cocaine within the vehicle. The two other occupant within the vehicle were also arrested. They will each appear in court on December 10, 2020.

A 16-year-old male youth will appear in court on charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order, Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Possess Cocaine.

A 26-year-old male will appear in court on charges of Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Possess Cocaine.

A 26-year-old female and a 30 year-old female will appear in court on charges of Possess Cocaine.

 

Mischief to Property

On September 5, 2020, police responded to an individual breaking windows on a vehicle in the area of the 1000 block of Frederick Street. Police attended the area to search for the suspect. Police canine tracked the suspect and located him nearby where he was arrested. The 21-year-old male also had outstanding charges from an arrest warrant. He was lodged to appear in court today on charges of Fail to Comply with Recognizance, Theft Under and Mischief to Property.

 

Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On September 4, 2020, police responded to a report of an individual who had attended to a residence, contrary to the conditions of his Undertaking. The 33-year-old male was arrested at the residence and will appear in court on November 19, 2020 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

 

Arrest Warrants

On September 5, 2020, at approximately 1:30 am, police located and arrested a 36-year-old female on an outstanding arrest warrant for Fail to Attend Court. She will appear in court on a later date.

On September 4, 2020, a 20-year-old male attended to Brandon Police Service as he was aware there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest for Fail to Attend. He will appear in court on a later date

 

IPDA

Five separate individuals were arrested over the course of the last 24-hours, as police responded to various reports. Each individual was too intoxicated to care for themselves, and there was no one else willing or able to watch over them to ensure their safety. They were each lodged until sober.
