Court Order Violations

At approximately 10 pm, Tuesday evening, police were called to a local hotel for a complaint of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance.  The male was located in the parking lot, banging his fists on the hood of an occupied vehicle.  The 39-year-old male was found to be on court ordered conditions to abstain from the consumption of alcohol and is not to attend any licensed premises.  There was no damage done to the vehicle and the female occupant was uninjured.  The intoxicated male was arrested and charged with three counts of failing to comply with a Recognizance and one count of failing to comply with an undertaking.  He was held in custody for court in the morning.

At approximately 1:30 am, Wednesday morning, police were called to a residence in the 1100 block of Rosser Avenue for a disturbance.  A 51-year-old Brandon male was located along with a female.  The male is bound by the conditions of a court order to have no contact or communication with the female.  The male was arrested and held in custody until sober, at which time he was released for court in October.

 

Warrants Executed

At 1:30 on Tuesday afternoon, police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Van Horne Avenue.  The 40-year-old male passenger from Brandon was checked and found to be wanted on an endorsed warrant for failing to comply with his probation order.  The male was arrested and released for court in October.

On Tuesday evening, police checked a male in the 200 block of Lorne Avenue.  The 27-year-old Brandon male was found to be wanted on an endorsed warrant for failing to appear for fingerprints.  The male was arrested and released for court in October.

 

Theft of Mail

At 3:30 on Tuesday afternoon, police attended the area of the 200 block of 4 Street after a female was reported in the area, taking mail and small packages out of mailboxes.  The female, a 21-year-old from Brandon, was located with items from approximately 15 different mailboxes.  She was arrested and released for court in October.

 

Break and Enter

On Tuesday evening, the owner of a business in the east end reported that his secure compound was broken into sometime over the last two weeks.  Items stolen from the compound include boat motors and boat seats.  A full check will be conducted to determine if other items were also stolen.  The file remains under police investigation.
