Warrants Executed

On Monday afternoon a 31-year-old Brandon male was observed by police in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue.  The male was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Impaired Driving and Fail to Attend Court.  He was arrested and held in custody for court in the morning.

On Monday evening, a member of Manitoba First Nations Police arrested a 35-year-old male from Sioux Valley during a traffic stop, on the strength of a Brandon Police Service warrant for Breach of Probation.  The male was released from custody and will appear in court in October.

At 4:30 am, Tuesday morning, a 26-year-old Brandon male was checked by police in the 3400 block of Victoria Avenue.  The male was found to be wanted for Failing to Appear for Fingerprints, on an endorsed warrant.  He was arrested and released for court in October.

 

Break and Enter

At approximately midnight on Monday night, a resident in the 900 block of Rosser Avenue reported that her apartment had been entered while she was away at work.  Entry to the suite was made through a partially open window.  A number of pieces of identification and an IPad Air 2 were stolen.  The event remains under investigation.

 

Court Order Violation

At approximately 7 am Monday morning, police attended a residence in the west-end for a report of a break and enter in progress.  The investigation revealed that there was no break in; however, the female at the residence, a 27-year-old Brandon female, was the subject of a court ordered undertaking with the condition to have no communication with the male resident.  The female was arrested and released for court in October.
