For the last 24 hours:

 

Breach of Peace

 

A report was received of a male going through the area of Elderwood Dr possibly attempting to break in residences in the area. The 46 year old male was located in the area and was intoxicated by drugs and was lodged until sober.

 

Possession of a Weapon

 

At 1:20 am, Police did a person check of a female in the 1300 block of Lorne Ave. The 14 year old youth had a can of bear spray in her possession. She was charged and released for a later court date.

 

Possession of Cocaine and Warrant of Arrest

 

At 2:49 am, Police did a person check in the 2400 block of Victoria Ave after finding a male acting suspiciously. The 24 year old male was found to have an outstanding warrant for Breach of Probation and also had a small quantity of cocaine in his possession. He was held in custody until sober and released for court.

 

Breach of Peace

 

At 1:36 am, a call was received from a residence on Beech Blvd of a female causing a disturbance. Upon Police arrival they located an intoxicated 23 year old female who was lodged until sober.

 

Assault with a Weapon

 

At 3:15 am, a call was received from a person stating that a male had been stabbed at a residence in the 600 block of Pacific Ave. The 29 year old victim was located and had three stab wounds and was also bitten by the accused. The victim was transported to BRHC for treat of his injuries. He was later released from hospital. Police arrested a 22 year old female in relation to this matter and charged her with assault with a weapon and domestic assault. The accused with be appearing court later this afternoon.
