Intoxicated Person Detention Act:

At 8:06am, police were called to the 1800’ block of Princess Ave for an intoxicated person.  A 46 year old man was arrested and lodged at BPS to be released once sober.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed:

At 11:52am, a 51 year old Brandon woman attended to BPS and turned herself in on a warrant for breach of probation.  She was arrested and released for court on September 10th, 2020.

 

Vehicle vs Pedestrian Collision:

At 1:57pm, police responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian collision at the intersection of 18th Street and McTavish Ave.  A north bound vehicle struck an adult male pedestrian who was walking westbound through the pedestrian corridor.  The male was transported to the hospital in serious condition where he was held for observation.  His condition later improved and he was released from hospital.  The incident is still under investigation pending the report from the traffic analyst.  

 

Arrest Warrant Executed:

At 4:00pm, police conducted a pedestrian check on a 57 year old man in the 1000’ block of Rosser Ave who was found to have a warrant for failing to attend court.  He was arrested and released for court on September 10th, 2020.

 

Breach of Peace:

At 7:07pm, police responded to a disturbance at a hotel on 18th Street North and located an intoxicated 19 year old male who was causing problems.  He was lodged to be released once sober.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed:

At 9:40pm, police conducted a pedestrian check in the 900’ block of Rosser Ave.  A 27 year old man was found to be in possession of bear spray and had a warrant for breach of probation.  He was arrested and held for court in the morning.

 

Breach of Peace:

At 01:28am, police responded to a disturbance in the 100’ block of 11th Street.  A 46 year old man was found highly intoxicated and indicated he had been taking ecstasy.  He was lodged to be released once sober.
