Arrest Warrant

On July 28, 2020, at approximately 11:20 am, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence. A 47-year-old male was intoxicated and being belligerent to others in the residence. He was found to be the subject of outstanding charges and was arrested. He was released once sober and will appear in court on a later date on charges of Theft Under $5000 and Fail to Appear in Court.

 

Possess Property Obtained by Crime

On July 27, 2020, shortly before 2:00 pm, police responded to a report that the owner of the stolen 2003, Chevrolet S10, had located it in a business parking lot in the 1500 block of 18th street. The vehicle was occupied by a male suspect. Employees from the business assisted the owner in preventing the suspect from leaving and contacted police. The 18-year-old male was arrested and will appear in court on a later date on a charge of Possess Property Obtained by Crime.

 

Arrest Warrant

On July 27, 2020 at approximately 6:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence. Several unwanted individuals attended to the home, and the homeowner required assistance in removing them. Both individuals were intoxicated. The 32-year-old female was arrested and lodged at lodged until sober. The 40-year-old male was found to be the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant. He was also lodged and will appear in court on a later date for Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

 

IPDA

On July 28, 2020 shortly after 2:00 am, a 36-year-old male attended to Brandon Police Service on his own accord. The male was found to be highly intoxicated, with nobody to look after him, and was unable to care for himself. He was lodged until sober.

 

Vehicle Arson

On July 28, 2020, shortly after midnight, police responded to a vehicle fire.  A 2006 Porche Cayenne, was fully engulfed in fire in a parking lot of the 1900 block of 18th street N. Initial investigation indicates that an unknown suspect set the fire intentionally. Anyone with information regarding this fire is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.
