For the last 24 hours:

 

Breach of Release Order:

At 5:51am, police responded to a 911 hang up call in the area of 1900 Queens Cres.  A 40 year old Sioux Valley man was found to be in breach of a release order by having contact with a female he was not to have contact with.  He was arrested and later released for court on August 20, 2020.

 

Impaired Driving (Drug):

At 6:26am, police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 200’ block of Rosser Ave East.  The driver, a 27 year old Brandon man, struck a parked vehicle and stairs to a residence.  He was found to be impaired by a drug and arrested.  He was later released for court on September, 2020.

 

Trafficking Meth, Possess Prohibited Weapon, Possess Weapon for Dangerous Purpose:

At 9:38am, police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 600’ block of 11th Street.  An 18 year old Brandon man was found to be in possession of a small quantity of meth with scales and packing materials.  He was also in possession of bear spray.  He was arrested and released for court on August 13, 2020.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed:

Carman RCMP requested BPS locate a 22 year old Brandon woman and execute their warrant of arrest for Utter Forged Document, Possess Stolen Property, and Forgery.  She was located at residence, arrested, and released for court on August 25, 2020.

 

Arrest Warrant Executed:

At 10:35pm, police responded to a disturbance at an apartment in the 100’ block of 10th Street.  A 32 year old female with no fixed address was found intoxicated.  She had a warrant from Winnipeg Police Service for failing to comply with probation, as well as a warrant from Morden Police Service for failing to comply with a DNA warrant.  She was held in custody at BPS and will appear in court this morning.

 

Breach of Release Order:

At 10:03pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1800’ block of Middleton Ave.  A 39 year old male occupant of the vehicle was found to be breaching conditions of a release order to reside in Winnipeg and observe a curfew.  He was arrested and held at BPS for court today.

 

Possession of Meth, Possession of Weapon, Breach of Undertaking:

At 12:31am, police conducted a pedestrian check in the 900’ block of Rosser Ave.  A 40 year old Brandon woman was found to be in possession of meth and a knife.  She was also breaching her undertaking.  She was held in custody at BPS for court today.

 

Possession of Controlled Substance:

At 1:36am, police located a 27 year old Brandon man at 1st Street and Victoria Ave who was under the influence of a drug.  He was found to be in possession of a large number of pills.  He was lodged at BPS to be released once sober and given a court date of September 10, 2020.

 

Breach of Peace:

At 2:51am, police responded to a disturbance at BRHC.  A 33 year old man with no fixed address was arrested for breaching the peace.  He was held at BPS to be released once sober.

 

Possession of Meth:

At 3:03am, police responded to a call of a suspicious person walking in a back lane opening gates in the 1000’ block of 10th Street.  A 36 year old Brandon man was located and found in possession of a quantity of meth.  He was arrested and released for court on September 10, 2020.
