Media Release for June 8th 2020



A 26-year-old Female has been charged with Impaired Driving, Drive Over .08, Breach of Release Order, Public Mischief as well as numerous Highway Traffic Act offences. She was involved in two Hit and Run incidents yesterday afternoon.  When she was located she was found to be intoxicated and on a Release Order to avoid alcohol.  She has been held in custody to appear in court today.



A 47-year-old Male has been charged with five counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.  Police conducted a search of his residence and located a quantity of what is believed to be Meth, Fentanyl, Psilocybin and Morphine.  He is also facing a charge of Possess Proceeds of Crime due to the cash that was found within his residence. A charge of Breach of Release Order has also been laid.  He will be appearing in court today.



A 43-year-old Female who was also within the residence above was found to be wanted on a warrant of arrest for the offence of Fraud Credit Card.  She has new charges of Possess Controlled Substance.  She will be answering to her charges in court in September.



A 20-year old Female has been charged with Breach of Undertaking after police located her walking in traffic in various states of undress while highly intoxicated.  Due to this individual having numerous charges pending, she has been held in custody to appear in court today.



A 32-year-old Male is facing charges of Drive While Prohibited.  The male was observed driving a vehicle while his driving privilege has been prohibited by a court order.  He will be appearing in court on August 31st to answer to this charge.
