Break and Enter

At approx. 7:30 AM Wednesday, police received a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 700 block of 41st St.  The suspect(s) entered the attached garage through the man door and stole a black Rocky Mountain Fusion mountain bike.  The incident is still under investigation.

 

Break and Enter   

A second break and enter was reported in the 7000 block of 41st St.  While members were investigating the previous incident, they discovered a shed at another residence in the same block had been entered. It is not known at this time if anything was stolen, however the suspects did rummage through the contents of the shed.  It appears these two incidents are connected and its investigation is continuing.

  

Break and Enter

At approx. 6:40 AM Wednesday, police were called to a residence in the 300 block of 2nd St for a break and enter to a detached garage.  The suspect(s) entered the garage through the man door and once inside stole 3 bike and some tools.  The incident is still under investigation at this time.

 

Possession of a Weapon / Possession of Meth

At approx. 3:10 PM on Wednesday officers were investigating a report of someone pepper spraying individuals in the 400 block of 10th St.  Members attended but did not locate any victims, however while checking a male in the area, found him to be in possession of bear spray.  A search incident to arrest revealed he was also in possession of a small quantity of Meth.  The 36-year-old Brandon male is charged with possession of a weapon and possession of meth.   He will appear in court on September 10th.

 

Motor Vehicle Collison with Injuries

At approx. 11:25 PM on Wednesday evening, police and ambulance were called to the intersection of 49th St East and Richmond Ave East.  A 2012 Ram 1500 was westbound on Richmond Ave E, when it collided with a northbound farm combine.  The combine, being driven by a 23-year-old male of a rural address, left the stop sign and the truck slammed into the side of the combine, trapping the driver of the truck inside.  Members of BFES attended to extract the 52-year-old driver of the pickup and transport him to hospital.  The driver sustained significant injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.  The driver the combine has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act for proceeding when unsafe.
