Fail to Comply with Undertaking

On June 1, 2020, shortly after 9:00 pm police responded to a report of several individuals who had been sprayed with bear mace in the 300 block of 13th street. The victims did not require medical attention. The suspects fled the area prior to police arriving. One of the individuals involved in the incident was found to be on conditions not to attend the address where the incident occurred. He was arrested and will appear in court on a later date on a charge of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

 

IPDA

On June 1, 2020 at approximately 8:00 pm, police received a report of a 20-year-old female in the 100 block of McTavish Ave who was intoxicated and unable to care for herself. There was nobody who was in a position to care for her so she was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

On June 1, 2020 shortly after 6:00 am, police conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of 17th street. The license plate on the vehicle had been reported as stolen. The driver of the vehicle was found to be a suspended driver. The 31-year-old male was arrested and will appear in court on a later date on a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

 

Assault

On June 1, 2020, police responded to a report of an assault at a residence at approximately 6:30 am. A 40-year-old male struck the victim in the face causing minor injuries. He was arrested and will appear in court on a later date on a charge of Assault.

On June 1, 2020 shortly after 1:00 pm, police responded to a report of an assault at a residence. The suspect assault the victim by striking them, pushing them down, and putting them in a headlock. The 41-year-old female was arrested and will appear in court on a later date on a charge of Assault.

 

Theft Under $5000

On June 1, 2020, police received a complaint of a theft of over $200 of merchandise from a business in the 100 block of Victoria Ave E at approximately 2:30 pm. The 31-year-old male suspect was located several blocks away and arrested. He will appear in court at a later date on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

IPDA

On June 1, 2020 shortly after 5:00 pm, police responded to a report of a female in the 3300 block of Richmond Ave E who appeared disoriented and confused. The 27-year-old female was found to be under the influence of meth, and not able to care for herself. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
