Arrest Warrants

On May 31, 2020 shortly before 4:00 pm, police located and arrested an 18-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation. She will appear in court on a later date.

A 32-year-old male who was with the female was also found to be wanted on outstanding charges. He will appear in court on a later date for Fail to comply with Undertaking.

On May 31, 2020 at approximately 8:30 pm, police observed a 20-year-old male in the 1500 block of 18th street who was known to be the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant. He will appear in court on a later date on a charge of Fail to Comply with Release Order.


Overcome Resistance by Choking

On May 31, 2020, police responded to a report of a dispute at a residence. A male within the residence was intoxicated and assaulting another resident by choking them and punching them while he was in possession of a box cutter. Another person present was able to intervene and take the box cutter away from the suspect. During the incident, the suspect also assaulted a two-year-old. The victims did not require medical attention.

The 28-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service. He will appear in court today on charges of Overcome Resistance by Choking, Assault, Assault with a Weapon, and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.



On May 31, 2020, shortly after 9:00 pm, police received a report of an assault, which occurred in the 1500 block of 18th street. The 29-year-old male suspect assaulted the victim by grabbing their neck while in a parking lot. The victim did not require any medical attention, and the suspect attended Brandon Police Service on his own to be arrested. He will appear in court on a later date with a charge of assault.


Breach of Peace

On May 31, 2020, police responded to a report of a male and female yelling outside of an apartment in the 1500 block of 20th street. The 24-year-old male was found to be under the influence of illicit drugs, and was lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent the situation from escalating.


Possess Meth

On May 31, 2020 shortly before noon, a 26-year-old male was found in possession of a small amount of meth following an investigation. He will appear in court on a later date on a charge of Possess Controlled Substance.
