Arrest Warrant

On May 23, 2020, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of 18th street. A 22-year-old male passenger was found to be the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for Assault. He will appear in court at a later date.

 

IPDA

On May 23, 2020, shortly after 7:00 am, police responded to a complaint of a female who was going onto private property in the 500 block of 15th street. Police located the 28-year-old female who was highly intoxicated and unable to care for herself. As there was nobody else to care for her, she was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Assault

On May 23, 2020, police received a complaint of a physical altercation at a residence. Investigation revealed that a 38-year-old male had assaulted a victim by pushing them into a wall. The victim did not require medical attention. The male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service due to his intoxication level and will appear in court on a later date for assault.

 

Fight Complaint

On May 23, 2020, at approximately 11:20 pm, police responded to a complaint of a fight in the 900 block of Princess Ave. between several females. One of the females involved was found to be highly intoxicated with nobody to care for her. The 18-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

Breach of Release Order

On May 24, 2020, shortly after midnight, police came across a male in the 800 block of Pacific Ave who was to abide by a 24 hour curfew. The male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on a charge of Fail to comply with Release Order.

 

Public Mischief/ Arrest Warrants

On May 24, 2020, police conducted a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Centennial Blvd. shortly after midnight. A female passenger initially provide police a false name. Investigation led police to learn her name, and discovered that she was the subject of outstanding arrest warrants and was to abide by conditions of a daily curfew. The 29-year-old female was arrested, and police discovered that she was in possession of a small quantity of meth. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on the warrant charges as well as new charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order, Public Mischief, and Possess Controlled Substance.

 

Fight Complaint

On May 24, 2020, police responded to a complaint of a fight between two females at a business in the 1100 block of 18th street at approximately 3:40 am. A 19-year-old female and a 41-year-old female, were arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent the continuation of their behavior. They will be released when sober.
