A 42-year-old Brandon Male has been charged with Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.  Police had received an anonymous tip that the male had unlicensed firearms in his possession.  A search warrant was executed at his residence and with the cooperation of the accused nine hunting rifles were seized.  He has been released to appear in court August 10th.



A 2015 Freightliner truck was recovered in the area of the Coral Center.  The truck had been reported stolen from Golden BC on April 25th.  Investigation is continuing.



A 36-year-old Brandon female has been charged with nine counts of unauthorized use of a credit card.  An ongoing investigation has revealed that she used a stolen credit card at nine times at various local businesses for purchases exceeding $4000.  She was released from custody to appear in court on October 1st.



A 36-year-old Brandon Male has been charged with Forcible Confinement, Resist Arrest and 2 counts of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous.  Police had received a report of a male being held hostage in the 700blk of Rosser avenue.  Police forced entry into the residence and located the Accused who was under the influence of Meth had armed himself with a crowbar and knife.  He male was taken into custody to appear in court.  The male who was being held was released unharmed.



As a result of a traffic stop on Middleton Avenue three individuals are facing numerous charges.  A 35-year-old male from Winnipeg is facing charges of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Possession of a Dangerous weapon.  He was found to have a canister of Bear Spray in his possession.  A 27-year-old Female from Winnipeg and a 23-year-old female from Brandon have been charged fro Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth and Possess proceeds of Crime.  They were both found with a quantity of Meth as well as a sum of cash in their possession.  They will be appearing in court May 7th.
