Assault

On February 12, 2020, police responded to a report of an assault. The victim approached staff at a business in the 800 block of Rosser Ave for assistance in calling police. The suspect, a 32-year-old male, was at the business when police arrived. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre due to his intoxication level. He will appear in court on March 12, 2020 on a charge of Assault.  The victim did not require medical treatment.

 

Arrest Warrant

On February 13, 2020, police responded to a residence at approximately 1:50 am, as the homeowner wished to report a crime. Police learned that the individual was herself wanted on outstanding charges of False Pretences, False Statement for financial Gain, and Use Forged Document. The 36-year-old female was arrested and released to appear in court later this month.

 

Break and Enter

On February 12, 2020, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter to the 1900 block of Rosser Ave. The suspects gained entry to a locked storage unit and stole a variety of tools and power tools. It is believed the suspects obtained pass codes to enter the building. Anyone with information regarding this Break and Enter is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.

 

Breach of the Peace

Between 8:30 am on February 12, and 12:30 am on February 13, 2020, police arrested four intoxicated individuals from separate incidents. The individuals were each lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to prevent their behavior from escalating.
