Snowmobiles within City Limits

Over the last several weeks, members of our Traffic/By-Law Section attended to many residences throughout Brandon to speak with citizens about the City of Brandon Traffic By-laws and the Off Road Vehicles Act, to remind them that the operation of snowmobiles within City Limits is prohibited. We would like to thank those individuals for their understanding and cooperation.

Individuals who operate their snowmobiles within the City Of Brandon could face fines in accordance with the City Of Brandon Traffic By-laws, and the Off Road Vehicles Act. Operating a snowmobile within the city limits results with a fine of $200.

 

Theft Under $5000

On December 14, 2020, police received a report of theft of merchandise from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Ave, Brandon. The suspect fled the business, but police were able to identify her from the video surveillance footage.

On February 9, 2020, the 27-year-old female was located and arrested. She will appear in court today on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Arrest Warrant

On February 9, 2020, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence. The individual who was the source of the issue left willingly; however, another individual at the residence was wanted on outstanding charges.

A 30-year-old male was arrested and will appear in court on March 9, 2020 on charges of Theft Under $5000, and Fail to Appear Court.

 

Arrest Warrant

On February 10, 2020, police received a report of a disturbance at a residence. The individuals who made the initial complaint were not at the residence when police arrived.

One of the individuals who was at the residence was wanted on outstanding charges. The 20-year-old male was arrested and will appear in court on March 3, 2020 on charges of Possess Property Obtained by Crime.

 

Arrest Warrant

On February 9, 2020, police located an individual who was wanted don outstanding charge in the 200 block of 11th street. The 25-year-old male was arrested and will appear in court on March 12, 2020 on charges of Fail to Comply with Probation.
