Arrest Warrant Executed (Domestic Assault):

At 8:30am, police attended to a residence in the 1500’ block of Lorne Ave. and located a 32 year old man who was wanted for domestic assault. He was held in custody to appear in court later that day.


Break and Enter, Attempt Theft of Vehicle:

On August 7th, 2019, a suspect broke into a shed in the 000’ block of 24th Street North. The suspect removed a number of items and placed them on a utility trailer. He then hooked the trailer to a truck and attempted to steal the vehicle when he was interrupted by a relative of the homeowner. The suspect fled on foot and was not located at the time. The suspect was later identified through DNA left at the scene. On February 4th, 2020, police attended to BCC and arrested the suspect, a 30 year old Rapid City man, who was in custody on an unrelated matter. He will appear in court on February 5th, 2020, to deal with the charge.


Arrest Warrant Executed (Utter Threats x2, Fail to Attend Court):

On February 4th, 2020, a 23 year old man attended to the RCMP office in The Pas to turn himself in on a warrant from BPS for uttering threats and failing to attend court. He was given a court date of March 9th, 2020, to deal with the charges.


Utter Threats:

On February 4th, 2020, police arrested a 57 year old Brandon man at his residence for uttering threats. The suspect was intoxicated and lodged at BCC. He will appear in court on February 5th, 2020.


Breach of Probation, Fail to Comply with Release Order, Possess Weapon:

At 8:30pm, police attended to a business in the 1500’ block of 18th Street as a Security Officer had arrested a 17 year old female for shoplifting. She was also found to be in possession of a knife and another homemade weapon. She was arrested and lodged at BCC for court in the morning.


Breach of Undertaking:

At 9:09pm, police attended to a disturbance at a business in the 900’ block of 18th Street North. The subject of the complaint was a 38 year old female from Grandview, MB, who was on conditions to not be at the business. She was lodged at BCC to later be released for court on March 30th, 2020.


Arrest Warrant Executed (FTC Probation):

At 10:26pm, WPS advised they had arrested a 29 year old man on a BPS warrant for failing to comply with probation. The suspect was arrested after stealing a car and fleeing from police in Winnipeg. He will appear in court in Winnipeg on February 5th, 2020.


Breach of Peace:

At 12:30am, police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 700’ block of Percy Street. A 26 year old man and an 18 year old female were found to be intoxicated and causing problems. They were both lodged at BCC to be released once sober.
