Breach of Undertaking

On January 13th, a 39 year old Brandon male was released after having been arrested on theft related offences. At that time he provided a Brandon address where he would be living at, which was included in his conditions of release, as well as a daily curfew. O Saturday late morning Police received a call of a suspicious male in the area of the 1200 block of 26th St. Officers tracked the male until he was located in the area of Neepawa Drive. A check of the male revealed he was the subject of a warrant of arrest, as he does not reside at the address he provided on January 13. He was also found to be in breach of other conditions of his release, one of which was not to possess any weapons. At the time officers located him he was carrying a knife. He was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court later today.

 

Warrant Executed

At approx. 5:15 PM on Saturday evening Police checked a male in the 1300 block of 34th St. who was found to be the subject of a warrant of arrest for theft, fraud, and fail to attend court. The 44 year old male was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court later today.

 

Breach of Undertaking

At 4:34 AM today officers stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Pacific Ave. A check of the vehicle occupants revealed that one of the passengers, a 31-year-old Brandon male is currently bound by a 10 PM curfew. As a result, he was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Correctional Centre. He will be released once sober with a court date of February 18th charged for failing to comply with an undertaking.

 

Breach of Undertaking

At approx. 9:35 PM on Saturday, officers attended to an address in the 100 block of 24th St for an intoxicated male. Upon arrival a check was conducted of the male revealing he is currently on an order with a condition that he not consume alcohol. He was arrested for failing to comply with his undertaking and was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Centre. He will be released once sober with a court date of March 12.

 

Other Arrests:

  • 1 male was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Correctional Centre for Breach of the Peace.
  • 1 female was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Correctional Centre under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act
