CDSA Search Warrant

 

On December 2, 2019 shortly before 10:00 am, members of the Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Middleton Ave.

Seized was approximately 6 ounces of Meth, 3 ounces of Cocaine, and 3.5 Grams of Ecstasy.

Five individuals were arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre, and will appear in court today on the same charges of Possess for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth, Cocaine, MDMA, and Alprazolam. They include an 18-year-old female, a 25-year-old male, a 26-year-old male, and a 27-year-old male.

A 26-year-old female faces additional charges of Proceeds of Crime, and Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking.

Theft Under $5000

On November 25, 2019, police received a report of theft of merchandise from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Ave. The male suspect and his accomplices were taking and concealing items in their jackets, then exited the store without attempting to pay for the items.

The 57-year-old male responsible was located on December 2, 2019 and arrested to appear in court on January 30, 2020 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Breach of the Peace

On December 3, 2019 between midnight and 4:30 am, police responded twice to separate disturbances at a residence in the 2200 block of McDonald Ave. A 38-year-old male, and a 36-year-old female, both found to be causing disturbances by trying to fight others in the residence while intoxicated, were arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre until sober.

 

IPDA

On December 2, 2019 between 8:00 pm, and 10:30 pm police responded to two separate situations involving individuals who were too intoxicated and to care for themselves. A 42-year-old male and a 30-year-old male were lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre until sober.

 

Fail to Comply with Conditions of Recognizance

On December 2, 2019, shortly before 11:00 pm, police received a report of a suspicious male tapping on a window. While searching for the suspect in the neighborhood, police located a 29-year-old male pedestrian in the block of 3rd street n. The male was to abide by a court-imposed curfew. He was also the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for Fail to Comply with Conditions of Recognizance. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today.

 

Arrest Warrant

On December 3, 2109 at approximately 5:30 am, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 500 block of Louise Ave. A 47-year-old male was found to be the cause of the disturbance, and was the subject of several outstanding arrest warrants. He was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear today in court on charges of Obstruct Justice, Assault and Theft Under $5000.

 

Arrest Warrant

On December 2, 2019, a 27-year-old female attended Brandon Police Service, as she was aware of a warrant in effect for her arrest. She will appear in court on December 30, 2019 on charges of Theft Under $5000 and Fail to Attend Court.
