Assault/Mischief to Property

On November 30, 2019, police were called to an assault at a residence shortly after 7:00 pm. Four acquaintances were having a dispute, which turned physical. One of the suspects damaged a window at the residence in the process.

The two suspects left the residence prior to police being called, but were located on December 1, 2019 and arrested. A 21-year-old male will appear in court on January 17, 2020 on a charge of assault. A second 21-year-old male will appear in court on January 27, 2020 on charges of Assault and Mischief to property.

 

Fail to Comply with Conditions of Recognizance

On December 1, 2019 at approximately 2:00 pm, Brandon Police Service attended to a business in the 100 Block of Highland Ave to assist members of the RCMP with a 43-year-old male they were dealing with in the course of an investigation.

The male was under the influence of Meth, and his behavior was escalating. He was also the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant issued by Brandon Police Service for Fail to Comply with Conditions of Recognizance. The male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today on the charges of the arrest warrant.

 

IPDA

On December 1, 2019 at approximately 4:30 pm, police came across a female who was highly intoxicated in the 900 block of Victoria Ave. The 31-year-old female was not able to care for herself in her condition, and she had no one else to look after her. She was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre until sober.
