Arrest Warrant/Breach of Undertaking

On October 17, 2019 at approximately 6:40 am, police checked two male pedestrians in the 600 block of 34th street, both of whom were intoxicated. One of the males, a 16-year-old male youth, was wanted on charges of Take Motor vehicle without owner’s consent. He was also on conditions to abide by a curfew, of which he was in breach. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today. The second individual, a 15-year-old male youth was also arrested due to his intoxication level and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to receive a fine for Consume Under, under the LGCCA once he was sober.

 

Arrest Warrant

On October 17, 2019 shortly before 12:00 pm, police conducted a traffic stop at 10th and College Ave. The passenger, a 46-year-old male, was found to be the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for Fail to Appear. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today.

 

Arrest Warrant

On October 17, 2019, police were called to Probation Services Office for a client who was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant. The 26-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon correctional Centre to appear in court today for Theft Under $5000.

 

Arrest Warrant

On October 17, 2019, a 25-year-old female attended to Brandon Police, as she was aware there was a warrant in effect for her arrest. She will appear in court on November 4, 2019 for Utter Threats in Portage la Prairie.

 

IPDA

On October 17, 2019, police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual at a business in the 1500 block of Highland Ave. The male had no one to care for him as he was from out of town and his travel companions left him behind in Brandon. He was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.

 

Arrest Warrant

On October 17, 2019 at 4:30 pm, police located a pedestrian in the 600 block of Lorne Ave., who was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant. The 31-year-old male was arrested and will appear in court on November 16, 2019 for Fail to Appear.

 

Arrest Warrant

On October 17, 2019, just before 5:00 pm, police responded to a report of a fight at a business in the 000 Block of 10th street. One of the individuals involved, a 22-year-old female, was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for Fail to Appear. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today. A 39-year-old male, who was also involved in the fight, was arrested due to his extreme intoxication, and to prevent anything further from happening. He too was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre for Breach of Peace.

 

Arrest Warrant

On October 17, 2019, before 6:00 pm, members attended to a residence to arrest a 23-year-old female who was wanted on charges of Possess Property Obtained by Crime, Theft of Credit Card, Fraud Transportation, and Fail to Appear. She was located at home and arrested on the charges issued by Rivers Police Service. She was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today.

 

Stolen Vehicle Recovered

Yesterday we reported the theft of a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. This vehicle was recovered, abandoned in the community of Long Plains F.N. on the evening of October 17, 2019.

 

Breach of Recognizance

On October 18, 2019 at 1:00 am, police responded to a report of an unknown male seeking assistance and demanding entry into a residence in the 1500 block of Stickney Ave, claiming to be injured. The homeowner did not let the male inside. Police located him a short distance away in good health with no injuries. The 24-year-old male was to abide by a curfew and was to reside in a rural community. He was arrested for being in breach of these conditions and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today on charges of Breach of Recognizance.

 

Assault

On October 18, 2019, police received a report of an assault, which occurred in a residence at approximately 2:00 am. A 27-year-old male had punched another individual in the nose during an argument, causing it to bleed. The male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today on a charge of assault.

 

Arrest Warrant

On October 18, 2019, shortly after 3:00 am, police responded to a call from a 15-year-old female requesting assistance from police in getting home; however, police learned she was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant. She was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today on a charge of Breach of Court Order.
