Breach of Peace

On October 14, 2019 at 1:00 pm, police responded to a report of an individual who was no longer welcome at a residence as he was trashing it after becoming mad at the homeowner. The 30-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre due to his intoxication level to prevent any further disturbances.

 

Breach of Probation

On October 14, 2019, at 2:00 pm, police attended to a residence in the 200 block of 1st street on a report of individuals being inside the residence without permission. The homeowner was away and only certain individuals had permission to be inside. Police located a 14-year-old female there who had been consuming alcohol, contrary to her court order. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre. She will appear in court on November 12, 2019 for Breach of Probation. At this time, the homeowner declined to lay charges in regards to the trespass.

 

Arrest Warrant

On October 14, 2019 at approximately 9:15 pm, police located a female pedestrian in the 200 block of 5th street who was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant. The 28-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today on charges of Fail to Attend, and Breach of Probation.

 

Breach of Peace

On October 14, 2019 at 10:00 pm, police responded to a report of employees requiring assistance in breaking up a physical disturbance between three individuals in the common area of an apartment building in the 200 block of 8th street. A 56-year-old intoxicated male was found to be causing the problem. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to prevent any further issues.

 

Care and Control over 80 mg%

On October 15, 2019 at 12:30 am, police received a report of a verbal altercation at a residence between family members. Two of the individuals left the residence prior to police arriving, and were located a short distance away in the 1500 block of Stickney Ave in a vehicle. The 22-year-old male who was sitting in the driver’s seat, was arrested for Care and Control. He provided two samples of this breath more than three times the legal limit. As the male had unrelated medical concerns he was taken to BRHC and was later released from police custody. He will appear in court on October 21, 2019 for Care and Control Over 80 mg%. The 24-year-old female passenger of the vehicle was also found to be intoxicated with no one to care for her. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.

 

Breach of Peace

On October 15, 2019 shortly after 1:00 am, police received several reports of disturbances in a residence in the 1500 block of 26th street. Neighbors could hear yelling and screaming from a residence where they believed a party was occurring. Some of the people causing the problems left on their own accord; however, a 21-year-old female who was intoxicated by alcohol, remained and continued to cause a disturbance. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.
