Assault PO/Resist Arrest

Police received a report of a disturbance at a business in the 1300 block of 18th street at approximately 5:30 pm. An intoxicated male was reported to be the problem as he was provoking other patrons. He left the business on his own, but was found by police nearby in the 1800 block of Richmond Ave. in traffic. When officers attempted to arrest him, he proceeded to fight them while resisting arrest. Once he was arrested and in custody, he was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre. He will appear in court on December 9, 2019 on charges of Assault Police Officer, Resist Arrest, and Cause Disturbance in Licensed Premise under the Liquor Gaming and Cannabis Control Act.



At 9:00 am, police responded to a report of an assault in progress in the area of the 400 block of 18th street. A 27-year-old female was arrested for assaulting the victim who did not require any medical attention. She will appear in court on December 9, 2019.


Arrest Warrant

At 1:00 pm, police attended to a residence to search for a male who was wanted on a charge of Breach of Probation. The 42-year-old male was located at home and arrested. He will appear in court on November 4, 2019 on a charge of Breach of Probation.


Breach of Peace

At approximately 1:00 pm, police responded to a report of a female youth in the 1900 block of 1 street who was being physically violent and appeared to be under the influence of a drug. The people caring for her were unable to control her. The 16-year-old was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.
