Prohibited Driving

At approximately 11:00 am, police came across a vehicle being driven with license plates that didn’t match the vehicle. The vehicle was stopped at 13th and Rosser. The driver was found to be prohibited from driving Canada wide. The 36-year-old male was arrested and the vehicle seized. He will appear in court on December 2, 2019 on a charge of Prohibited Driving.

 

Fraud

Shortly after 2:00 pm, police responded to a report of a female who had attended a restaurant in the 1500 block of 19th street and ordered a meal. The female began to act out in the establishment and would not pay for her meal. Police believe she was under the influence of meth. The 34-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre. She will appear in court on a later date.

 

Breach of Peace

At approximately 3:45 pm, police attended to a residence as a female in the household was behaving in a concerning manner and others in the home weren’t able to control her. The 33-year-old female was found to be under the influence of drugs. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to prevent any further issues in the home.

 

Arrest Warrant

Shortly before 6:00 pm, a 34-year-old male attended Brandon Police Service as he was aware of a warrant in effect for his arrest. He will appear in court on October 31, 2019 for Fail to Appear.

 

Breach of Peace

Police responded to a report of a 26-year-old female who was intoxicated and acting out in a violent manner at a residence, and others present were concerned for her wellbeing, but were not able to stop her actions. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to prevent any potential problems.

 

Breach of OIC Undertaking

At approximately 10:30 pm, police responded to a report of a 15-year-old male youth acting out in his home, then leaving the residence, contrary to his court ordered curfew. The youth turned himself in to Brandon Police Service after midnight and was arrested for Breach of OIC Undertaking. He will appear in court on November 5, 2019.

 

IPDA

At 4:00 am, police responded to a report of a male, who was intoxicated in the 200 block of 9th street with nowhere to go. The male was from another community, and had no one to care for him in his intoxicated state. He was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.

 

Breach of Recognizance

Shortly after 5:00 am, police attended to the area of the 2100 block of Currie Blvd as two individuals were arguing. Both were found to be highly intoxicated. The 40-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre for Breach of the Peace to prevent any further issues. The 24-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today on a charge of Breach of Recognizance, as he was to abide by a curfew condition but found to be in breach.
