Breach of Recognizance

Shortly after 11:00 am, police responded to a report of a 25-year-old male who was in breach of his no contact order. The male attended a residence that he was on court ordered conditions to abide by not to attend. Once there, he damaged property when he was denied entry. He was located later in the day at a separate location and arrested for the breach. He was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today on charges of Breach of Recognizance X 2 and Mischief to Property.

 

IPDA

Police received a report of an individual who was passed out in the 000 block of 8th street after 1:00 pm. Police attended and located a 57-year-old male was located, and in no condition to care for himself. He was arrested and transported to Brandon Correctional Centre.

 

Breach of Recognizance

Shortly after 11:00 pm, police received a report of individuals who were allegedly attempting to car hop in the area of the 200 block of Brandon Ave. Police located two males in the area who were believed to be responsible. A 20-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre for Breach of the Peace to prevent any further issues. He was found to be intoxicated by alcohol. A 16-year-old male was to abide by conditions not to consume alcohol, and to obey a curfew. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today.

 

Assault Cause Bodily Harm

Shortly before 11:00 pm, police responded to a report of an assault outside of a residence. A 25-year-old male assaulted another member of the household by pushing him to the ground then repeatedly punching him the head with a closed fist. The victim was taken to BRHC by ambulance. The suspect was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre. He was also found to be the subject of a conditional sentence order of which he was in breach. He will appear in court today for Assault Cause Bodily Harm.
