IPDA

Shortly after 11:00 am, police located a pedestrian near the 100 block of Southern Ave. The 60-year-old male was intoxicated by drugs to the point where he could no longer care for himself. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.

 

Breach of the Peace

At approximately 4:30 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence. Several members of the household were under the influence of drugs, and a 52-year-old male was found to be the cause of the disturbance. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to prevent any further problems.

 

IPDA

Police responded to a report of individuals who were panhandling in the 1900 block of Richmond Ave at approximately 5:00 pm. They were reportedly being aggressive and intimidating towards others. A 46-year-old female was located there, intoxicated and unable to care for herself. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.

 

Arrest Warrant

A 23-year-old female attended Brandon Police Service after 7:00 pm to turn herself in to police as she was aware there was a warrant in effect for her arrest. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today on charges of Breach of Recognizance X3.

 

Uttering Threats

An ongoing investigation into threats made over the span of several weeks toward a family over the phone and text messages has led to the arrest of a 23-year-old male. The male was located at his residence and arrested on the evening of September 8, 2019. He was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today on charges of Threatening Death and Threatening to Burn Personal Property.
