 Arrest Warrant Executed


A 38 year old male subject attended to the Brandon Police Service station in the morning to have a criminal record check completed. During the query, it was learned that a warrant of arrest was in place for the subject. He was released from custody to appear before the courts on October 3rd, 2019.


Break and Enter to a Business

At 1000 hrs, police received a report that two storage facilities in the 1500 block of Park Ave were broken into overnight between 2000 hrs and 0800 hrs. Access was gained to the first shed by cutting two locks that were securing it; nothing was taken. A cargo trailer in this area was also entered by cutting two locks. Items stolen were: 2 Bell Satellite Dishes with receivers, a Honda pressure washer with motor, and a leather Adams golf bag with clubs. Police are continuing to investigate.


Mischief to Property

At approximately 0900 hrs, a 31 year old male subject had gone onto his neighbour’s property in the 500 block of 6th St. and removed his cat from the City owned trap. He then destroyed the trap. He was located at his residence later in the day and charged with mischief to property. He was released from custody to appear before the courts on October 15th, 2019.


Intoxicated Person Detention act

At approximately 1930 hrs, a 51 year old male subject who was in the area of the Discovery Center called the Brandon Police Service to report that he believed 40 people from all around the city were after him and have been sprinkling meth on him all day. The subject was located in the area and was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Centre due to his being extremely intoxicated on Meth.


Residential Break and Enter

At 1930 hrs, a homeowner called to report that their residence was broken into sometime between July 29th and August 12th. The victim had been away during this time period and received a call from a friend notifying them of the break in. The victim had someone attend to their residence on their behalf and confirmed that the front door had been kicked in and the apartment ransacked. The suspect(s) had stolen a kitchen table as well as a television.
