Stolen Van

Police received a report of a stolen van. The theft occurred between 10:00 pm on August 7, 2019 and 9:45 am on August 8, 2019. The owner believes they may have mistakenly left a set of keys in the vehicle when it was last parked at their Linden Lanes area home. The van is described as a brown, 2003, Honda Odyssey with Manitoba license plate KFP881. Anyone with information regarding this theft is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.

 

Stolen Mobility Scooter

Police received a report of a stolen mobility scooter from the 1000 block of Victoria Ave. E. The theft occurred between midnight and 9:00 am on August 8, 2019. The mobility scooter is described as black in colour with reflective stripes on the back. The brand name is a Pride GoGo. Anyone with information regarding this theft is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.

 

Breach of the Peace

Just prior to midnight, police received a complaint of an intoxicated female who was causing a disturbance at a business in the 1700 block of Middleton Ave. To prevent any further issues for the individuals who were with the 31-year-old female, she was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.

 

Arrest Warrant

While on patrol in the downtown area, police observed an individual who appeared to be checking car doors. Police learned that the 30-year-old male was wanted on an arrest warrant for Theft Under $5000 and fail to appear in court. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today.
