Breach of the Peace

Shortly after 7:00 am, police were called to a disturbance outside a residence. A female youth was reportedly acting out, possibly in a state of drug induced psychosis. She was behaving erratic, jumping in and out of traffic. As her family was not in a position to keep her safe in her state, she was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.

 

Arrest Warrant

At approximately 4:40 pm, while on patrol, police came across a male pedestrian known to be the subject of an arrest warrant. The 46-year-old male was arrested and will appear in court on September 9, 2019 for Breach of Probation.

 

Breach of the Peace

Shortly before 7:00 pm, staff at a business in the 900 block of 18th street N, contacted police to report a male approaching other customers if they wanted to purchase drugs. When police attended, the male was found to be highly intoxicated. To prevent anything further from occurring, the 33-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre. No drugs were found on him at the time.

 

Theft Under $5000

Police received a report of the theft of merchandise from a business in the 1500 block of 18th street at approximately 8:25 pm. The 32-year-old female was located in the parking lot area of the business and arrested. She was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today.

 

IPDA

At approximately 11:40 pm, police came across an intoxicated pedestrian while on patrol in the 1100 block of 18th street. The 19-year-old female was not able to care for herself in her intoxicated state, and there was nobody to turn her over to. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.
