Breach of Peace

At approximately 7:00 am, police received a report of two adult brothers fighting at their parent’s residence. Both were intoxicated. The two men were in town visiting, as they reside in a rural community. To prevent any further issues the 25-year-old male and 22-year-old male were arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.


Impaired Driving/Drive Over 80 mg%

Just before 2:00 pm, police stopped a vehicle on Elmdale Blvd, for poor driving. The 24-year-old female driver provided an excuse for the poor driving that she was on her cell phone. She was showing signs of impairment, and was arrested. She provided samples of her breath three times the legal limit. She was released to a family member and will be appearing in court on July 11, 2019.


Theft under $5000

Shortly after 8:00 pm, a female youth attended to Brandon Police Service to confess to stealing from a south end business on June 13, 2019. She was arrested and released to appear in court on July 30, 2019.


Theft Under $5000

An ongoing investigation into the theft of merchandise from a downtown business on June 8, 2019 has identified a suspect. He was located on a city bus while members were conducting patrols Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm. The 34-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre, as he was also the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for Breach of Probation and Fail to Appear. He will appear in court this morning.



At approximately 11:30 pm, police received a report of an intoxicated male who was passed out behind a business in the 1000 block of 18th street. The 61-year-old male was not welcome at home while intoxicated, and was therefore lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.



At approximatley 4:30 am,  51-year-old male was located in the east end, intoxicated with no one to care for him. He was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.
