Assault

Police received a report of an assault, in which the victim was allegedly punched in the head on separate occasions, including Tuesday morning at a residence. Police located the 55-year-old male suspect still inside the residence. He was arrested and will be appearing in court on July 8, 2019.

 

Possession of Cocaine

At 3:20 pm, during a traffic stop downtown, a 24-year-old male occupant was found to be in possession of a small amount of cocaine. He was arrested and will be appearing in court on August 8, 2019.

 

Assault

A female youth was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre after police received a report that she had assaulted another male youth by throwing a Slurpee on him, then repeatedly punching him in the face while in their residence at approximately 6:30 pm. She will be appearing in court today.

 

Breach of the Peace

Police received a report of a male who seemed to be under the influence of some type of drug at approximately 7:50 pm. The male was found to be rolling around in the grass near the 2300 block of Victoria. He was unable to care for himself and was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.

 

Two Arrest Warrants

While checking a residence for a wanted individual, police located a second wanted individual as well at approximately 6:30 pm. A 39-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today on charges of Mischief to Property, and Breach of Probation. A 23-year-old male was arrested and lodged as well, and will be appearing in court today on charges of Breach of OIC Undertaking, and Breach of Probation.

 

Three other Arrest Warrants

During a pedestrian check just before 7:00 pm, police arrested a 42-year-old male wanted on charges out of Winnipeg. A 28-year-old male also wanted on charges out of Winnipeg was arrested Tuesday morning after meeting with his probation worker. Both will appear in court in Winnipeg at a later date.

At approximately 6:00 pm a 32-year-old male wanted on outstanding charges here in Brandon was arrested by RCMP and will appear in court on July 15, 2019 for Breach of Probation.
