Brandon Police Service Media Release for the Past 24 Hours.

Break and Enter

A 23 year old Brandon man has been charged with Break, Enter and Commit Theft.  On May 3rd, a garage in the 1300 block of 18th St North was entered by the suspect who then stole several items out a vehicle parked in the garage.  He was identified from surveillance video at a nearby business.  He was located by the investigating officer shortly before 2:00 am on Sunday morning, arrested and lodged to appear in court on Sunday morning.

Impaired Driving

On Saturday morning, a vehicle was stopped in the 1600 block of 1st St after the driver was reported leaving a residence after drinking and causing a disturbance.  The driver, a 28 year old Brandon man, showed signs of impairment and was arrested.  He provided breath samples over the legal limit and was charged with impaired driving and drive over 80 mg%.   There was also an arrest warrant for him for Failing to appear for Prints.  He was released to appear in court later in May.

Other Arrests

A 21 year old Brandon man was arrested on several warrants on Saturday evening. He was lodged for court on Sunday.

An 18 year old Brandon woman was arrested on several warrant shortly after 12:00 am on Sunday. She was lodged for court.

Two people were lodged for Breach of Peace and one under the intoxicated persons detention act.
